Our Story

Our Vision

Organic textile protection without the use of chemicals and pesticides

○to redefine the mosquito repellent/protection field with sustainable solutions

Our Mission

To make a difference by protecting you without harming the environment.

Our products will dramatically lower the risk of disease and death from mosquitoes, increase farmers' crop yields while lowering water use, and make the outdoors more accessible

Innovative Solutions created at NC State

Interdisciplinary Research from NC State University

Scientists at NC State working across five fields: biomedical physics, polymer science, vector science, entomology, and mathematics have created a new chemical-free fabric that prevents mosquito bites through the patented way the fabric is woven.

knitting our netting into the story

From a soda bottle prototype to success

Dr. Chouaibou recognized that in order to overcome insecticide resistance in malaria vectors, it was crucial to design a method that combined both chemical and mechanical action. Thus, his first mosquito trapping net (The T-Net) was born. The first T-Net, handmade with sections of plastic soda bottles to serve as funnels for mosquitoes into the net's trapping compartment, received spectacular results, gaining Dr. Chouaibou funding from IVCC to develop the T-Net in collaboration with NCSU. Fast forward to today, and their efforts have resulted in the first chemical-free mosquito netting that meets WHO's four-year useful life standard.
